Sunbeds

A structure like a bed containing a device for producing light, which you lie on in order to make the skin go darker.

Last year, UK government banned under-18s from using tanning salons after a report published by the International Agency for Research into Cancer (IARC) found that people who start using sunbeds under the age of 35 increase their risk of malignant melanoma by 75 per cent. Malignant melanoma is the most common cancer in young adults aged 15-34 in UK. It also introduced new restrictions banning coin-operated machines.
