English around us

A world of words

Witty, strange, unusual …words which define the work of Roald Dahl, one of the most popular storytellers of our time. His stories have always  a twist in the tail, and his characters are  ordinary people on the surface but many of them have a cruel side. Tales of the Unexpected is also a popular TV series from the 80’s, introduced by Roald Dahl himself, with which you can enjoy some of his stories. Nevertheless, don’t miss the pleasure of reading them first-hand. In any case, here is an adaptation of one of the tales you’ve just read.
